ESPN hit by another massive round of layoffs, jobs not being filled
ESPN has been hit hard by the changing media landscape in recent years. Now, it is bracing for another round of layoffs.
Per a note from ESPN president Jimmy Pitaro, 300 layoffs have taken place, and 200 additional jobs will not be filled.
As you can see in Pitaro’s note below, he explains that the COVID-19 pandemic has hit the company hard:
ESPN is laying off 300 employees and will not fill 200 currently open positions.

Budgets are tight everywhere as we continue to navigate our way through the pandemic. ESPN is no stranger to layoffs these days, though.
