Defense may have been optional at best during the 2020 college football season but expect the less-heralded side of the ball to make a comeback in 2021.

But you don’t have to solely take our word for it, according to ESPN’s future defense power rankings, half of the top 10 hails from the Southeastern Conference.

ESPN’s list includes Georgia, Alabama, Texas A&M, LSU and Auburn.
