ESPN has unveiled its preseason power rankings for the 2016 season, and the SEC West clearly dominates the conference rankings.

Alabama and LSU are ranked No. 1 and No. 2, while Ole Miss comes in at No. 3, giving the SEC West bragging rights on the top three spots. Three SEC East teams — Tennessee (No. 4), Florida (No. 5) and Georgia (No. 6) — were ranked next.

However, ESPN named four Eastern Division teams the worst in the conference, leaving South Carolina at No. 14. In fact, Vanderbilt was ranked ahead of three other East teams heading into the season. Things could get somewhat interesting in the SEC East this season.

Here’s what ESPN’s Edward Aschoff said about the Gamecocks being ranked No. 14:

Steve Spurrier didn’t exactly leave Will Muschamp with a lot of talent to get his head-coaching career back on track. List the position and the Gamecocks probably have an issue there. Freshman Brandon McIlwain is making strides at quarterback and could be the present and future, but he’ll need some consistency at receiver. The defense lost its best player in Skai Moore, and the defensive line and secondary are searching for more playmakers.

Here are ESPN’s SEC preseason power rankings:

2. LSU Tigers
3. Ole Miss Rebels
4. Tennessee Volunteers
