ESPN's giving us more Finebaum this season
Paul Finebaum has become the SEC’s unofficial mouthpiece and somewhat of a cult hero since the longtime radio personality became the SEC Network’s shining star during its wildly successful first season.
And ESPN says it isn’t done developing Finebaum, the brand.
“You can expect to see more of Paul and see him out on location with us as much as you’ve seen and even more so,” ESPN Senior Vice President of College Networks Programming Rosalyn Durant told AL.com. “He’s a tremendous asset to the Network.”
It’s the network’s latest programming reveal after College GameDay announced Rece Davis was replacing Chris Fowler as host and College Football Final was axing its three-member cast in favor of newcomers. More Finebaum means he’ll likely appear live on-set more regularly and producers could spice up his four-hour daily radio show a bit.
We’re all in for additional Finebaum coverage.
And Phyllis from Mulga is too.
