For whatever reason, ESPN has cooled on several Southeastern Conference teams since the last time the outlet posted its way too early top 25 rankings.

Of the six teams ranked in the preseason poll, four of them dropped and another league team was removed completely in the updated version of the 2019 rankings. The only teams not to see any movement in ESPN’s way too early rankings were Alabama and Auburn.

You can check out ESPN’s complete updated way too early top 25 here.

Here is a list of every SEC team ranked in the poll, along with their movement from the previous time ESPN did this ranking:

#2 Alabama (no movement)

#4 Georgia (down 1 spot)

#8 Florida (down 1 spot)

#11 Texas A&M (down 2 spots)

#12 LSU (down 2 spots)

#23 Auburn (no movement)

Missouri (dropped from the poll; #22 previously)
