Fan dies in stands during USC-Notre Dame game
This is some unfortunate news out of South Bend.
A 76-year-old man who was reportedly attending the Fighting Irish’s home game against No. 11 USC on Saturday night has died.
The man went into cardiac arrest at about 8:10 p.m., according to a Notre Dame press release, and despite resuscitation efforts from paramedics, he didn’t make it.
A doctor reportedly responded immediately, as well as paramedics from the Notre Dame and South Bend fire departments.
