In August, 4-star WR Stephen Sullivan announced he was de-committing from LSU and opening the commitment race up again.

According to SEC Country, he knew where he was going a while ago, but he decided to visit other schools anyway.

After going on official visits, he had narrowed his top 3 back down to LSU, Mississippi State and TCU.

Tonight, in front of family and friends and Periscope TV, Sullivan announced his commitment to LSU for a second time.

“I realized there were other things out there in the world I needed to see,” Sullivan said. “I needed to make sure I made the right decision, and there was no place like LSU.”

Sullivan is a Louisiana native, and the location of LSU played a huge role in his decision, as well as the school’s decision to retain Les Miles.

“I had to look where I fit, how far my family had to drive and what fit me,” Sullivan said. “It was close to home, and I didn’t want my family to drive too far for home games, so LSU it was.”

Sullivan puts the Tigers in the No. 2 spot in the recruiting rankings.
