This is a good reminder to not tweet high school football recruits, even if you are an adult (or former) film star.

Five-star QB Justin Fields has the attention of several SEC programs, along with Florida State, but he received a little more this week when he received a tweet from former adult film star Mia Khalifa.

Fields, a 5-star dual threat QB, was recently ranked the No. 1 player in the country by 247Sports after he was named the MVP at the prestigious “The Opening” camp. The outlet updated its player rankings Monday. Fields jumped up one spot above fellow Georgia QB Trevor Lawrence (Clemson commit).

Khalifa, a well-known Florida State fan, is no stranger to quarterbacks with SEC ties. About a year ago, she interacted with former Ole Miss quarterback Chad Kelly.

Perhaps she is trying to woo another top recruit to Florida State like she did after Cam Akers committed to the Seminoles.

Fields is from Kennesaw, Ga. and formerly was committed to Penn State until early June. Auburn, Florida and Georgia along FSU appear to be the programs in the hottest pursuit for Fields.

Fields reportedly responded to Khalifa, “yeah i am … what’s up?” but later deleted the tweet.
