It’s good that Florida State DL DeMarcus Walker, who is expected to be selected in the 2017 NFL Draft, chose football over baseball.

On Wednesday evening, the football star threw out the ceremonial first pitch ahead of the Florida State baseball game and, to say the least, it did not go very well.

As you can see below, Walker uncorks an absolute dud of a first pitch, which was shown to his former teammate, star RB Dalvin Cook, who had a perfect reaction on SportsCenter on Thursday morning:

Of course, even star MLB pitchers have trouble getting the ball all the way to home plate sometimes. Just ask St. Louis Cardinals star Adam Wainwright, who unleashed this atrocious pitch earlier this season:

Though Walker will likely never throw a pass in the NFL, it remains to be seen whether Wednesday’s dud affects the ex-Seminole’s draft stock.

Hey, it’s the NFL — players have been moved down draft boards for far sillier reasons.
