A new SEC player has appeared on ESPN’s Heisman Watch.

Though Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has led the way all season, he was joined by Kentucky linebacker Josh Allen in the updated rankings released Tuesday. Allen shined in the No. 11 Wildcats’ 15-14 win at Missouri last Saturday, with nine of his 11 tackles being solo and his two sacks forcing fumbles.

ESPN’s 10-person panel assigns points based on votes spanning first place to fifth, and below you can view the complete Heisman Watch heading into Week 9.

It’s worth noting Tagovailoa got every first-place vote, with Murray pulling in every second-place vote. Minshew is flying up the rankings after leading Washington State to back-to-back Top-25 wins over the last two weeks.
