National title odds often reflect the public perception of a college football team. If that’s the case, the SEC has a bit of work to do in 2017.

The Westgate Superbook in Las Vegas is often seen as the go-to when it comes to sports betting odds, and the book released a new set of potential wagers on Monday. Their board is never published publically, but some in the know tweeted out the odds earlier today.

Four SEC teams made the cut: Alabama is the current leader at 7-2, LSU follows up at 15-1, Auburn is at 20-1, with only Georgia being represented from the East with odds at 30-1.

Of course, nearly all teams have bettable odds every season. If a college football fan wanted to pick San Jose State, someone would find a way to take his or her money. These odds are the most probable, and due to the scarcity of SEC teams, it appears that the Las Vegas wise guys are bearish on the SEC outside of Alabama in 2017.
