LOOK: Fans hopping off the Lane Train after FAU's horrible first half vs. Oklahoma
As the Oklahoma-Florida Atlantic game approaches halftime, things have gotten ugly.
Behind an incredible effort from QB Kyler Murray, the Sooners are blowing out coach Lane Kiffin’s Owls 42-0 and have thoroughly outclassed their opponents.
Entering the season, Kiffin spoke a lot about how the Owls could hang with the Sooners, but that didn’t appear to be the case in the first half.
As you can see below, fans flocked to Twitter to hop off the “Lane Train” following the abysmal first half performance:
Me: the Lane Train can cover +19.

Obviously, it was always going to be a long shot for a team from Conference USA (even one as good as FAU) to come into Norman and compete with an Oklahoma squad that went to the College Football Playoff last season.
Still, Kiffin is one of the most polarizing personalities in college football, so it’s not surprising to see him draw such a reaction.
