Virginia Tech’s Justin Fuente just joined a club no coach wishes to ever join: lost to a team that didn’t complete a pass.

Thursday night, Georgia Tech won in the most Georgia Tech way possible: 464 yards of rushing, zero yards of passing. While it is well known that the Yellow Jackets rely on the triple option and barely throw, this was the first game this season that Georgia Tech put up a goose egg in the passing yards portion of the box score.

For the 2018 season, Georgia Tech has recorded 707 yards of passing. The previous season low for the Yellow Jackets was 12 passing yards in a win over Louisville on Oct. 5. Bobby Petrino is probably going to send Fuente a gift basket when he hears about last night’s game.
