LOOK: Incarnate Word becoming first college squad to use camouflage end zones
There are some interesting fields in college football, from Eastern Washington’s red field to Boise State’s blue turf.
Now, though, the University of Incarnate Word is taking things a step further, as they’ll utilize a camouflage end zone this fall.
Below, you can see the interesting photos from the early stages of the project. It appears the Cardinals will go with a red and black camouflage pattern:

The Cardinals will take on Stephen F. Austin in Week 1 of this season, so that’s the first look fans will get at the unique end zones.
Whether or not more teams get crazy with their end zones before the start of the season remains to be seen.
