LOOK: Lane Kiffin visited FAU recruit in maternity ward to help him welcome child
Making a college decision is one of the biggest choices a young athlete will have to make through that point in their lives.
However, some recruits are also parents, as was the case for one Florida Atlantic target. As the recruit welcomed his child into the world, he had some company.
As you can see below, the player’s high school coach posted a photo of Lane Kiffin paying the recruit a visit in the maternity ward of a hospital:
Love him or hate him @Lane_Kiffin came to the maternity ward to see one of his recruits who just had a baby and talked to him about real life stuff. Not football. Coach Kiffin is a genuine guy and we appreciated having him around today! pic.twitter.com/bM08DJVWtR

It’s nice to see that Kiffin talked with the player about things other than football, and it’s likely that it meant a lot to the player, who wasn’t named to protect his privacy.
Florida Atlantic’s 2019 recruiting class is currently ranked No. 79 in the nation and No. 6 in the Conference USA, per the 247Sports composite.
