Auburn coach Gus Malzahn will be making an in-home visit on Wednesday, but not just any routine visit.

According to 247Sports.com’s Keith Niebuhr, Malzahn and special teams/tight ends coach Scoutt Fountain will travel to Orlando, Fla., to see one of their commits in defensive tackle Tashawn Manning, who is battling Leukemia.

Manning committed to Auburn back in June, but Thanksgiving Day brought the bad news of his diagnosis.

The three-star recruit out of Apopka, Fla., began chemotherapy shortly after, according to Niebuhr. His second round of chemotherapy began last week.

Manning’s family is well on its way to getting the help they were hoping to receive for his treatments. Their GoFundMe page is nearing $14,000, not far off from their goal of $15,000.
