There was a significant shakeup at the top of college football on Saturday, with some games having a direct impact on the College Football Playoff picture.

Week 9 brought Oklahoma’s first loss of the season in an upset at Kansas State, Ohio State taking care of Wisconsin, and LSU defeating a top ten Auburn team at home to claim the No. 1 spot in the Week 10 AP Poll.

Betting service SportBook USA released its updated National Championship odds after Saturday’s games. Surprisingly to some, LSU is not at the top of the list despite being the current No. 1 ranked team in the country. The odds show Alabama at the top with the best current odds.

  • Alabama 5/2
  • Ohio State 5/2
  • Clemson 3/1
  • LSU 6/1
  • Georgia 12/1
  • Penn State 16/1
  • Oklahoma 18/1
  • Oregon 30/1

After blowing out Arkansas with backup Mac Jones at quarterback, Alabama is listed at 5/2 odds to win the title. That evens the Crimson Tide with Ohio State, who continues to dominate with former Georgia quarterback Justin Fields.

LSU sits three spots behind Alabama with 6/1 odds. Both teams will sit out on a bye week before meeting in Tuscaloosa, in a game that will certainly update the odds of both teams.
