Justin Fields (Kennesaw, Ga.) is a wanted young man.

The nation’s No. 1 dual-threat QB decommitted from Penn State Tuesday night, and now, several SEC schools are chasing after him hoping to land his signature on National Signing Day.

Fields, the nation’s No. 6 overall prospect for the class of 2018, could be a battle between Auburn, Georgia and Florida. In fact, the Gators lead for Fields in the Crystal Ball predictions. Some also feel that Florida State is a player for Fields, too.

Fields released the news via Twitter, where he described his decision as the “hardest he’s ever had to make.” His next hardest decision will come when he has to decide which school he’ll actually sign with.

QB mentor George Whitfield recently said Fields is the total package.

“I think Justin Fields is the overall package. The scary thing is that his demeanor, his engine doesn’t really run hot at all,” said Whitfield via 247Sports. “He kinda stays and hangs at a five. If something big happens, he stays at a five, if he misses a throw or a read, it doesn’t affect him either. I guess it’s like any big jet or bomber, the weather along the flight is really insignificant for them.

“I can’t believe you have that type of size, athleticism, speed, quickness, arm strength, vision – it’s almost like he’s built in a lab. He’s gonna be an incredible asset to Penn State and the Big Ten. Hats off to coach Franklin for getting him.”

Fields threw for 2,770 yards and 23 touchdowns, while rushing for 1,176 yards and 15 touchdowns in 2016. He’s an incredible talent, and it will be an interesting finish for his recruitment.

Here are Fields’ junior highlights, and it’s easy to see why he’s so coveted:
