When the 53 former SEC players selected in the 2017 NFL Draft report to training camps this summer, they’ll be heading all over the country.

Out of the 32 NFL teams, only four (the Minnesota Vikings, Tennessee Titans, Kansas City Chiefs and Los Angeles Chargers) didn’t pick someone who played in the SEC.

Some players will have company from their collegiate conference, as a whopping 17 NFL teams selected two or more ex-SEC standouts.

However, when it comes to drafting the most former SEC athletes, three teams stand above the rest. The New York Jets, Washington Redskins and Detroit Lions each drafted an impressive total of four players from the conference.

All three squads, as you can see below, used first- and second-round picks on SEC players and then filled out their roster with a pair of other ex-SEC athletes later in the draft:

New York Jets:

  • Jamal Adams, S, LSU (Round 1, Pick 6)
  • Marcus Maye, S, Florida (Round 2, Pick 39)
  • ArDarius Stewart, WR, Alabama (Round 3, Pick 79)
  • Derrick Jones, CB, Ole Miss (Round 6, Pick 204)

Washington Redskins:

  • Jonathan Allen, DL, Alabama (Round 1, Pick 17)
  • Ryan Anderson, LB, Alabama (Round 2, Pick 49)
  • Jeremy Sprinkle, TE, Arkansas (Round 5, Pick 154)
  • Joshua Holsey, CB, Auburn (Round 7, Pick 235)

Detroit Lions:

  • Jarrad Davis, LB, Florida (Round 1, Pick 21)
  • Teez Tabor, CB, Florida (Round 2, Pick 53)
  • Jalen Reeves-Maybin, LB, Tennessee (Round 4, Pick 124)
  • Jeremiah Ledbetter, DE, Arkansas (Round 6, Pick 205)
