While some states push forward with plans to play high school football this fall, other states like California have postponed the sport until the spring semester.
On Wednesday, North Carolina became the latest state to decide to delay the fall season by a few months.
Per reporter Deana King, North Carolina will move the season to February, when schools will be able to play a 7-game season:

According to the 247Sports composite rankings, there is 1 5-star athlete and 17 4-star players in the 2021 recruiting class from the state of North Carolina.
How many of those guys will decide to enroll in college early and skip the spring season? That remains to be seen, but it will be something many of them will probably consider.
