The investigation at Ohio State led to a three-game suspension for Buckeyes coach Urban Meyer and a two-week suspension for athletic director Gene Smith.

Zach Smith, former wide receivers coach, had already been fired prior to the investigation when domestic violence allegations against him became public. However, the investigation led to more documents being released pertaining to Smith.

Ohio State posted several public records pertaining to Smith, and they updated that page on Tuesday with even more documents, including police reports, emails and a text conversation between his ex-wife, Courtney, and Meyer’s wife, Shelley.

One of the emails released is from 2015, which states that Smith entered a substance abuse clinic that year but did not complete treatment.

Ohio State also released the coaching manuals from 2013 and 2014, and the latter one had a noticeable inclusion. After Smith’s alleged strip club incident, Meyer added a clause to the coaching manual that made it a policy to “avoid strip clubs or venues that would embarrass The Ohio State University.”

The text conversation between Courtney Smith and Shelley Meyer shows them discussing Smith’s divorce and the situation in general.

There were also text conversations between Urban Meyer and agent Trace Armstrong and between Meyer and sports information director Jerry Emig, both pertaining to Smith.

In addition to those documents, Ohio State also released a travel expense document, a divorce decree, a protection order and more.
