Here’s one bold prediction for every SEC game during the sixth Saturday of the college football season:

South Carolina vs. (at) LSU — Football’s secondary this weekend for the Gamecocks who are trying to give their fanbase three hours of enjoyment during a time of peril back home. Unfortunately, Leonard Fournette won’t be hospitable when he buckles his chinstrap and will set a new career-best with over 250 yards on the ground.

Troy at Mississippi State — Star wideout De’Runnya Wilson wakes up from his slumber and reaches the end zone three times against the Trojans, besting his previous season total up to this point.

New Mexico State at Ole Miss — After consecutive weeks of inconsistent play offensively, the Rebels find a rhythm and hit the 70-point plateau for the third time this season.

Florida at Mizzou — Here’s the upset special of the week — true freshman quarterback Drew Lock outshines veteran secondary as Mizzou hands Florida its first loss of the season. It doesn’t make logical sense based on the Tigers’ inconsistencies offensively, but the Gators can only play with a target on their backs for so long.

Arkansas at Alabama — The Razorbacks not only cover, but come within striking distance of the Crimson Tide in the fourth quarter thanks to another explosive rushing effort out of Alex Collins. Alabama’s defense bends, but doesn’t break during the win.

Georgia at Tennessee — The Vols’ defense, which hasn’t played as well as most expected it would this season (injuries haven’t helped), posts its best showing and ends Nick Chubb’s streak of 13 straight 100-yard games. Forcing Georgia into passing situations is top priority for Tennessee.
