When it comes to the Kansas Jayhawks, the men’s basketball team is one of the best in the country. The football team, though? Not so much.

Recently, the Jayhawks fired former AD Sheahon Zenger, and are now in the process of looking for his replacement — someone they hope will help turn the football program around.

According to a report from KUSports.com, the list of potential candidates includes current Ole Miss AD Ross Bjork and former Arkansas AD Jeff Long:

The list includes Colorado State athletic director Joe Parker, Central Michigan AD Michael Alford, recently dismissed Arkansas AD Jeff Long as well as Ole Miss’ Ross Bjork, SMU’s Rick Hart and even a current employee of Castiglione’s, OU senior associate AD Kenny Mossman.

Obviously, the position makes sense for Long, who hasn’t found a new job after being let go by Arkansas at the end of last football season.

Would Bjork actually leave Oxford? That remains to be seen, but he is apparently being considered for the opening.
