The offseason hasn’t gone as planned for Michael Oher as the former Ole Miss left tackle found himself booked in a Nashville this week.

Now an offensive lineman for the Carolina Panthers, and most notably the inspiration for the Academy-nominated “The Blind Side” movie, Oher’s charge stems from an incident which took place April 14 in Nashville involving an Uber driver. Oher is accused of assaulting the driver following a dispute which began during the ride given by the Uber drive.

Following the incident, Oher was cited for misdemeanor assault. The next step in the case will be a June court date in Nashville.

Here’s Oher’s mugshot, taken Monday in Nashville:

Oher was the No. 23 overall pick in the 2009 NFL Draft by the Baltimore Ravens. After five years with the Ravens, Oher joined the Titans in 2014 before joining Carolina for the last two NFL seasons.
