If you missed our weekly picks column, it ran Wednesday night, you can find it here. Every Thursday we also like to bring you the weekly picks from The Power Rank.

If you are unfamiliar with The Power Rank, creator Ed Feng has created a system which has accurately picked the college football winner 72.7% of the time dating back to the 2016 season. It’s also noteworthy that his record does not count cupcake FBS vs. FCS games, only FBS vs. FBS games. Due to the system not predicting games against FCS opponents, Mercer at Alabama and Wofford at South Carolina were not predicted by The Power Rank.

The Power Rank correctly predicted five of eight SEC winners last week, which is off the pace the system has been for the majority of the season. Not bad for an off weak.

Here’s a breakdown of how The Power Rank predicts the rest of the Week 12 games in the SEC:

  • Texas A&M will beat Ole Miss by 1.2 points on the road. The Rebels have a 46% chance of winning in Oxford.
  • Vanderbilt will beat Missouri by 2.2 points at home. The Tigers have a 44% chance of winning in Nashville.
  • LSU will beat Tennessee by 6.1 points on the road. The Vols have a 32% chance of winning in Knoxville.
  • Georgia will beat Kentucky by 16.6 points at home. The Wildcats have a 12% chance of winning in Athens.
  • Mississippi State will beat Arkansas by 8 points on the road. The Razorbacks have a 28% chance of winning in Fayetteville.
  • Florida will beat UAB by 18.1 points at home. The Gators have a 90% chance of winning in the Swamp.
  • Auburn will beat Louisiana-Monroe by 31.5 points at home. The Tigers have a 98% chance of winning on the Plains.
