The Power Rank is back with another set of projections for the coming weekend of SEC action.

Fans of analytics know The Power Rank, created by Ed Feng, know the system as one of the more accurate predictors of college football games that exist.

Feng’s metrics have accurately predicted the winners of college football games from the 2015 season to the 2017 season 73.7 percent of the time — with an overall record of 1679-598. That number is even more impressive when you factor in that The Power Rank does not pick FBS games against FCS competition.

Last weekend was a bit of an off week for The Power Rank, as the system went 3-2 picking SEC games.

Here is how The Power Rank predicts the Week 10 action to play out in the SEC:

  • Florida is projected to beat Georgia by 1.9 points in Jacksonville. The Bulldogs have a 44 percent chance of winning this game.
  • Auburn is projected to beat Ole Miss by 18.7 points at home. The Rebels have a 10 percent chance of winning this game.
  • Mississippi State is projected to beat Arkansas by 4.8 points on the road. The Razorbacks have a 36 percent chance of winning this game.
  • Tennessee is projected to beat UAB by 11 points at home. The Volunteers have a 79 percent chance of winning this game.
  • South Carolina is projected to beat Vanderbilt by 14.2 points at home. The Commodores have a 15 percent chance of winning this game.
  • Texas A&M is projected to beat UTSA by 34.3 points at home. The Aggies have a 98 percent chance of winning this game.
