This week is filled with huge games for both divisions. SEC East rivals Georgia and Florida have great opportunities to prove themselves against tough teams from the West. A couple other dangerous teams from the West, Mississippi State visits Texas A&M, will battle for better position to make the SEC title game.

There are nine games involving SEC teams this week, so let’s take a look at projected final scores for Saturday’s conference matchups, according to four different media outlets — tennessean.com, Bleacher Report, chattanoogan.com  and Fox Sports.

SEC PICKS BY TENNESSEAN COLUMNIST DAVE AMMENHEUSER

Missouri 20, South Carolina 17
Georgia 28, Alabama 24
Auburn 49, San Jose State 14
Tennessee 31, Arkansas 21
Ole Miss 33, Florida 26
LSU 55, Eastern Michigan 6
Vanderbilt 36, Middle Tennessee State 35
Kentucky 44, Eastern Kentucky 28
Texas A&M 37, Mississippi State 28

Note: Here are the most telling observations. Like he did last week, Ammenheuser likes Florida to suffer its first loss of the season. This time he might actually be right. He’s mostly forecasting a chalk Saturday, with favorites Georgia, Auburn, Tennessee, Ole Miss, LSU and Texas A&M all expected to win and cover. Vanderbilt is the only underdog he sees winning outright.

SEC PICKS BY BLEACHER REPORT

South Carolina 21, Missouri 14
Georgia 30, Alabama 28
Auburn 38, San Jose State 18
Ole Miss 30, Florida 21
Tennessee 29, Arkansas 24
LSU 55, Eastern Michigan 10
Middle Tennessee 27, Vanderbilt 21
Texas A&M 37, Mississippi State 19
Kentucky 36, Eastern Kentucky 21

Note: Several things jump out here. Bleacher Report predicts that South Carolina will beat Missouri outright. Then it has Georgia, Ole Miss, LSU and Texas A&M all winning and staying perfect on the season.

SEC PICKS BY CHATTANOOGAN.COM’S RANDY SMITH

Alabama 31, Georgia 24
Auburn 33, San Jose State 10
Ole Miss 24,  Florida 20
Kentucky 44, Eastern Kentucky 14
LSU 48, Eastern Michigan  7
Texas A&M 30, Mississippi State 23
Missouri 24, South Carolina 21
Middle Tennessee 27, Vanderbilt 24
Tennessee 34, Arkansas 20

Note: Wow. There are some eye-openers here. Smith likes Alabama to win outright at Georgia, where the Bulldogs are favored by less than a field goal. He has Tennessee winning at Arkansas by two touchdowns. The Vols are favored by 6.5 points. He also has Ole Miss, LSU and Texas A&M staying unbeaten.

SEC PICKS BY FOX SPORTS

Kentucky 50, Eastern Kentucky 6
LSU 37, Eastern Michigan 20
Auburn 31, San Jose State 25
Tennessee 29, Arkansas 28
Alabama 26.3, Georgia 25.6
Vanderbilt 29, Middle Tennessee State 27
Texas A&M 30, Mississippi State 29
Missouri 27, South Carolina 26

Notes: Each game in Fox Sports’ predictions is simulated 101 times, so these scores may actually turn out to be quite accurate. No Ole Miss-Florida score is available, but a plethora of one-score results has been predicted, including underdog Alabama squeaking past Georgia by a fraction of a point. You know it’s a tough week when Kentucky is projected to have the easiest time of all SEC teams.
