After a week of a couple of dominating defensive performances (Alabama, Auburn, Georgia) and razor-thin wins for South Carolina and Florida in Week 4, Pro Football Focus released its players of the week.

The South Carolina passing duo of Jake Bentley and Bryan Edwards, who connected on a key play in the Gamecock’s come-from-behind win made the cut along with teammate Donnell Stanley at offensive guard. Despite the loss to Texas A&M, Arkansas’ Frank Ragnow received the highest overall grade of any player at 95.2.

Alabama’s Damien Harris ran for a career-high 151 yards on 12 carries against Vanderbilt. And Christian Kirk at Texas A&M returned three kickoffs for a combined 136 yards, including one for a 100-yard touchdown.

On defense, Deandre Baker at Georgia gave the Bulldogs their first interception of the season, while Jarmarcus King added a pick for the Gamecocks.

But one surprise was Kentucky’s Darius West, who had an interception against Florida, but was also on the unit that is most remembered for losing to Florida because twice in the game, uncovered receivers made big plays, including a late touchdown, which proved to be the difference.
