There were plenty of top performers throughout the SEC during Week 1 of the 2018 season.

On Tuesday, Pro Football Focus released its “SEC Team of the Week” for both offense and defense for the first weekend of games this season.

Alabama had six players represented on the teams, while Texas A&M had five.

It’s no surprise that Tua Tagovailoa was one of the Crimson Tide’s selections as the sophomore quarterback paced the offense in their season-opening win over Louisville.
