Once again, what a weekend in the SEC.

Anybody who didn’t get a chance to watch any football on Saturday missed some terrific games.

Arkansas and Texas A&M kicked off the day with an overtime thriller in AT&T Stadium, while Florida and Kentucky went down to the wire in Lexington to close out the night. LSU, South Carolina and Tennessee collectively held off upset bids from inferior teams.

Then there were some lopsided games inside the conference, as Alabama pummeled Vanderbilt, Auburn routed Missouri and Georgia shocked Mississippi State. Ole Miss was on a bye week.

There was an abundance of eye-opening performances, and once again, we ranked them. As always … players, teams, head coaches and coordinators were eligible for consideration.

Here are the most impressive SEC performances from Week 4:

10. Florida

The Gators are finding ways to win, and for that they deserve some credit. Most of the national talk seems to be about how Florida should be 0-3. Sure, it hasn’t been pretty. The Gators might be one of the weakest 2-1 teams in the country, but they’re still winning and that’s all that matters. It’s easy to point out ways that Florida has been lucky and how it should have lost to Tennessee and Kentucky — but the fact remains it didn’t.

9. Two kicking Daniels

It’s time for a little love for kickers. Two of the SEC’s top kickers both happen to be named Daniel. Auburn’s Daniel Carlson and Texas A&M’s Daniel LaCamera each had excellent days booting the football on Saturday. Carlson was 3-for-3 on field goal attempts with a long of 54 yards. He also drilled all six of his extra points against Missouri. LaCamera was a key part of the Aggies win over Arkansas, as he hit all three of his field goal attempts and went 5-for-5 on extra points. With time expiring in the fourth quarter, LaCamera’s 27-yard field goal forced overtime.

8. Kerryon Johnson

Honestly, Johnson’s stat line wasn’t all that impressive outside of one key statistic. But that one statistic was enough to get him into this week’s Top 10. Johnson had five rushing touchdowns against Missouri. One, two, three, four, five! Those five scores on the ground tied for the most rushing scores in a game in college football this season. Even more impressive, Johnson said he wasn’t 100 percent. He missed the Tigers’ previous two games with a right hamstring injury. All in all, Johnson only gained 48 rushing yards on 18 carries. But again, five touchdowns!

7. Tua Tagovailoa

It’s safe to say Alabama’s backup quarterback would start for the majority of teams in the SEC. Big surprise there … the Crimson Tide have depth. Tagovailoa gained valuable reps against Vanderbilt on Saturday and threw for more yards than starter Jalen Hurts. Tagovailoa finished 8-for-10 passing with 103 yards. He also tossed two pretty touchdown passes in the third quarter — from 34 and 27 yards, respectively. Certainly, Alabama fans wouldn’t want to see Hurts go down, but they can take some comfort in knowing his backup had an impressive SEC debut.

6. Auburn

We’ve already pointed out the sterling performances from Auburn’s kicker and one of its running backs. Let’s talk about War Eagle as a whole. The Tigers’ 51-14 win at Missouri on Saturday was about as complete of a performance as Auburn fans could ask for. Missouri is not good, obviously, but Auburn took care of business on the road in the SEC. That’s never easy, no matter what team you’re lining up against. Auburn posted a balanced 482 yards of offense, while its defense allowed just 124 on the ground and forced four turnovers. War Eagle is proving week in and week out that it has the SEC’s best defense.

5. Kevin Sumlin

If you pull for people in this big business that is college football, it’s easy to pull for Sumlin. And if you are one of those supporters, you were happy to see him get a marquee win on Saturday against the Razorbacks. Say what you will about Sumlin being on the hot seat, but he simply does not lose to the Hogs. After the 50-43 overtime victory, Sumlin is 6-0 vs. Arkansas since taking over as the Aggies’ head coach in 2012. Aggies fans will tell you that UCLA loss still hurts, and for good reason, but Texas A&M seems to be getting better each week.

4. Damien Harris

Harris let the Commodores know early who was boss with his 61-yard bolt to the end zone which put the Crimson Tide up 14-0 over Vanderbilt. Harris made that run look easy and never let up the rest of the day. Harris gained 151 yards on just 12 carries, good for a 12.6 average, and three touchdowns. While carries were split evenly for the most part among himself, Bo Scarbrough and freshman Najee Harris, the elder Harris clearly got the most out of his reps.

3. Kirby Smart/Georgia

So, this Georgia team is starting to look pretty good. And so is head coach Kirby Smart, who seems to have assembled a lethal defense in Athens. The Bulldogs terrorized Mississippi State 31-3 on Saturday and never even let coach Dan Mullen’s team in the game. Georgia is 4-0 and appears to be firmly in the driver’s seat to represent the SEC East in Atlanta. The Dawgs held Mississippi State and its star quarterback, Nick Fitzgerald, to just 280 yards of offense. That was a season low by almost 200 yards for State. Georgia’s strength might be its defense but it also appears to be incredibly balanced on offense. It had 404 yards of offense on Saturday — 203 on the ground and 201 through the air. Don’t look now, but Alabama might have a challenger.

2. Christian Kirk

From an individual standpoint, you won’t find a better performance than Kirk’s on Saturday against Arkansas. The Aggies’ leading wide receiver caught five passes for 110 yards and two touchdowns against the Hogs. That included an 81-yard scoring reception in the first quarter to give Texas A&M its first points of the game, as well as a TD catch in overtime to give A&M its final points of the game … and a win. As if that wasn’t good enough, Kirk returned an Arkansas kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown in the fourth quarter. Good luck finding a more dynamic playmaker in the SEC.

1. Alabama

Alabama had as many first downs, 38, as Vanderbilt had offensive plays on Saturday.

The only thing that could top Georgia’s dominance and Kirk’s outstanding individual effort would be the most complete performance we’ve seen from Alabama in a long time. Nick Saban smiled after the Crimson Tide’s 59-0 road shutout over Vanderbilt, so that should tell you all you need to know. Alabama could have literally scored at least 80 points if it wanted. The Tide took a knee near the goal line at the end of the game to prevent itself from going up 66-0. Alabama outgained Vanderbilt by nearly 600 yards — 677 to 78. The Tide had 38 first downs to Vanderbilt’s three. What more can you say? Offense, defense, special teams … the Tide rolled. Saban’s team looks scary again.
