Fantastic finishes and eye-opening performances highlighted another big week in the SEC. From record-breaking offense at LSU to a 13-6 victory by Florida, this week had it all.

Here are the top 10 performances by SEC teams for the week:

1. NO. 11 TENNESSEE 34, NO. 25 GEORGIA, 31

Star Player: QB Joshua Dobbs

Key Stat: Vols scored 20 fourth-quarter points.

Why: For the second consecutive week, the Vols rally from a double-digit deficit to win it in dramatic fashion. Dobbs threw for 230 yards and 3 touchdowns, including the Hail Mary score on the last play of the game. Vols WR Jauan Jennings outfought a host of Georgia defenders in the end zone for the game-winning score.

2. LSU 42, MISSOURI 7

Star Player: RB Derrius Guice

Key Stat: LSU set a school record for a SEC game, piling up 634 yards of offense.

Why: In their first game since the firing of head coach Les Miles, and without their top offensive player RB Leonard Fournette, the Tigers rolled in record-breaking fashion. In his absence, Guice rushed for 163 yards and 3 touchdowns.

3. NO. 16 OLE MISS 48, MEMPHIS 28

Star Player: RB Eugene Brazley

Key Stat: Ole Miss won the turnover battle, 4-1.

Why: The Rebels avenged last year’s loss, scoring at least one touchdown in all four quarters. Brazley rushed for 124 yards and 2 touchdowns, complimenting QB Chad Kelly’s 361 passing yards and one touchdown.

4. NO. 9 TEXAS A&M 24, SOUTH CAROLINA 13

Star Player: QB Trevor Knight

Key Stat: Aside from a 75-yard touchdown run on the first play from scrimmage, Texas A&M otherwise held South Carolina to under 100 yards rushing.

Why: Winning on the road in the SEC is always a daunting task. The Aggies accomplished the feat with a balanced attack on offense and a strong defensive effort. Knight threw for 206 yards, and Trayveon Williams added 98 rushing yards and a touchdown.

5. NO. 1 ALABAMA 34, KENTUCKY 6

Star Player: WR Calvin Ridley

Key Stat: Alabama held Kentucky under 100 yards in both rushing and passing.

Why: The Tide rolled again at home, outgaining the Wildcats 488-161. Jalen Hurts threw for 262 yards and 2 touchdowns. Ridley hauled in 11 passes for 174 yards and 2 touchdowns. Joshua Jacobs led the ground attack with 100 yards and one touchdown on 16 carries.

6. NO. 23 FLORIDA 13, VANDERBILT 6

Star Player: LB Jarrad Davis

Key Stat: The team that scored the game’s only touchdown won it.

Why: The Gators went back to winning with defense, holding the Commodores to a pair of field goals. Davis piled up a game-high 15 tackles, including 9 solo tackles. Florida QB Austin Appleby threw for 144 yards, completing 19-of-28 passes.

7. AUBURN 58, UL-MONROE 7

Star Player: QB Sean White

Key Stat: Auburn held a distinct advantage on total yards, 688-251.

Why: Auburn rolled, extending a 28-7 halftime lead with 28 points in the third quarter. White threw for 239 yards and 2 touchdowns, completing 14-of-17 passes, while Kerryon Johnson rushed for 146 yards and 2 scores.

8. NO. 20 ARKANSAS 52, ALCORN STATE 10

Star Player: QB Austin Allen

Key Stat: Arkansas held the rushing edge, 353-155.

Why: Arkansas took care of business, scoring 24 first-quarter points to take charge from the outset. Allen threw for 206 yards and 3 touchdowns, two of those went to Jared Cornelius, who led all receivers with 106 yards on 4 pass receptions. Arkansas RB Devwah Whaley tacked on 135 rushing yards and a touchdown on 9 carries.

9. NO. 25 GEORGIA 31, NO. 11 TENNESSEE 34

Star Player: QB Jacob Eason

Key Stat: Georgia led time of possession, 36:07 – 23:53.

Why: In a game that saw the lead change hands twice in the final 10 seconds, the Bulldogs played well enough to win but ultimately could not hold their early 17-0 lead, losing on a Hail Mary pass on the game’s final play. Eason threw for 211 yards and 2 touchdowns to keep the Bulldogs in the game. Without the services of top RB Nick Chubb (who made his only carry on the first play from scrimmage), Sony Michel rushed for 91 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries. Brian Herrien added 74 yards on 15 carries.

10. VANDERBILT 6, NO. 23 FLORIDA 13

Star Player: RB Ralph Webb

Key Stat: Vanderbilt held a 21-15 edge in first downs.

Why: Despite Webb’s 110 yards rushing and an outstanding effort from its defense, Vanderbilt could not reach the end zone. Zach Cunningham led three Vanderbilt players with double-digit tackle games, piling up 14 of his own and one for a loss. Ja’karri Thomas (11) and LaDarius Wiley (10) were the others.
