The SEC continues to attract the top-rated talent in country among power conferences, as evidence by 247Sports’ most recent rankings of the 2016 recruiting class.

The conference far-and-away outpaced the rest of the nation in average rank, thanks to owning half the teams in the top-10 and nine among the top-25.

The Big Ten impresses with the No. 2 and 3 classes in Ohio State and Michigan, respectively. But the class rank drops dramatically after Michigan State at No. 13, all the way to No. 30 Wisconsin. Not only that, but the Badgers sit behind No. 29 Kentucky for best class.

The Big Ten and Big 12 are up to their ears in parity as the two conference are separated by a mere 0.2 percentage points. Of the top teams in each power conference, only two (Florida State and Ohio State) have made the College Football Playoff.

LSU has the No. 1 class, while Kansas, to no one’s surprise, has the lowest-ranking incoming class at No. 88 in the nation among the 64 power conference teams.

These rankings are subject to change before the Feb. 3 signing day. Here’s a look at each conference’s average ranking and its best and worst individual classes so far this offseason:
