Report: 1 dead, 1 wounded after shooting outside Rose Bowl on Saturday night
On Saturday night, UCLA hosted No. 5 Oklahoma at the Rose Bowl, losing 48-14.
After the game, tragedy struck in the stadium parking lot, as a shooting claimed the life of one person and wounded another.
Per PasadenaNow.com, an 18-year-old man was killed and a 51-year-old man was wounded by what police do not believe was a random shooting:
Pasadena Fire Department paramedics arrived and transported both victims to a local hospital, one in stable condition and the second victim in grave condition.
Despite the life-saving efforts of medical staff, the second victim succumbed to his injury. The victim has been identified as Kamryn Stone, 18 years old, and a Los Angeles resident.
The additional victim is a 51-year-old Los Angeles resident. He is recovering from a gunshot wound, and is in stable condition.
Reporter George Stoia III was at the game and said it sounded like 20-30 shots were fired during the incident:
There were just about 20-30 gunshots outside of the Rose Bowl. Police showing up to the scene now.
If you’re in the area, I’d advise evacuating.
