Report: Clemson AD confirms Tigers in talks with 2 SEC teams for non-conference games
College football fans may be treated to more SEC-Clemson clashes in the future.
In a recent interview, Tigers AD Dan Radakovich confirmed that Clemson is in talks with both Georgia and LSU for future regular-season out-of-conference meetings.
Clemson coach Dabo Swinney and Georgia AD Greg McGarity have previously publicly endorsed renewing the rivalry.
Radakovich’s comments were shared by Clemson beat writer Zach Lentz. When a fan asked whether the meetings would be neutral site or home-and-home, Lentz stated Clemson’s preference would be for home-and-home.
Clemson and Georgia last played in 2014 with the Bulldogs winning 45-21 in Athens. The Battle of the Death Valley schools has not occurred since 2012 when Clemson beat LSU 25-24 in Atlanta to win the Chick-fil-A Bowl.

home and home is what Clemson wants–neutral site games can only happen when the stars align perfectly because Clemson is not willing to give up a home game, they always want to have 7 home games because of the impact that losing a home game would have on the community.
