Report: Houston OC Kendal Briles resigns after blowout bowl loss to Army
Houston was absolutely embarrassed in the Armed Forces Bowl on Saturday, falling 70-14 to Army in a game that shouldn’t have even been that close.
Army scored at will, and the Houston offense struggled all day, too — a bad combination for the Cougars.
Now, it appears OC Kendal Briles has resigned his position with the Cougars following the game:

There are many rumors connecting Briles to Florida State, so we’ll see if he’s unemployed for very long.
For now, though, he’s out at Houston and we’ll see what’s next for him and the Houston offense. Head coach Major Applewhite’s future is also reportedly in doubt following the collapse.
