The 2020 NFL Draft won’t be held in Las Vegas this year, due to the coronavirus outbreak.

However, the league is still planning to hold the draft remotely from April 23-25, as scheduled. That, though, is not what the NFL general managers want to do.

Per a report from ESPN, general managers would like the draft moved back to allow them more time to get information about players:

General managers are concerned that, in this current environment, with offseason activities and some teams’ facilities closed, there won’t be enough time for player physicals, gathering psychological testing, getting further verified information about the players and some teams having to conduct the draft from home.

The April draft is a month away, so we’ll see what the league and commissioner Roger Goodell decide to do.
