Roger Goodell announces when Las Vegas will get to host NFL Draft
In recent years, the NFL Draft has become a destination event for pro football fans with an abundance of festivities for everyone. Last year’s incredible turnout in Nashville was supposed to be followed up with a lavish setup at the Bellagio hotel and casino on the Las Vegas Strip.
Those plans were scrapped due to the coronavirus pandemic. The 2020 NFL Draft is being held virtually, with Goodell revealing first-round selections from his home. During the broadcast, he announced that Sin City will get to host in 2022 after Cleveland hosts in 2021. Kansas City is set to host in 2023, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Fittingly Vegas, the original plan for 2020 was to have draftees transported via boat to a stage set up in the iconic Bellagio fountains.

We will see if that remains the plan for 2022.
