The 6-foot back from El Campo, Texas has been committed to Louisville since June. Texas A&M, Georgia and Ohio State are thought to be frontrunners for Owens’ services.

This would be especially big for Texas A&M, which just lost star RB Devon Achane to the NFL Draft. Jimbo Fisher and the Aggies are looking to bounce back from what was a wildly underwhelming season in College Station this past year.
Owens is rated as the No. 20 prospect in the 2023 cycle and the No. 3 player from the Lone Star State.
