Other than Mississippi State’s nifty Adidas Egg Bowl renditions on Nov. 29, we’re not expecting anything out of the ordinary the rest of the way on the SEC uniform front this season. Looking back at each program’s classic styles and improved alternates to this point, we’ve decided to compile all threads into one comprehensive posts for the uniform lovers out there.

Adidas schools Texas A&M, Mississippi State and Tennessee have been the most expressive, but Nike’s also featured several updated combinations at Kentucky and Ole Miss that have been received well in the national spotlight.

Here’s a team-by-team glance at what we’ve seen in the SEC this season:

And a complete list of our previous uniform rankings and concepts:

Mixing all of our SEC uniform lists together into one 2014 season power ranking, here’s how this year’s best styles place:

10.Mizzou’s roads: The Tigers’ white and grey road alternates with a matte black shell was the signature combination during Nike’s redesign in 2012 when Mizzou entered the SEC.

NCAA Football: Missouri at South Carolina

9.Vanderbilt’s alternates: The black nameplates weren’t well-received by the SEC, but the Commodores’ all-black alternates for this year’s opener against Temple were a pleasant surprise.

NCAA Football: Temple at Vanderbilt

8.LSU’s Saturday night special: The Tigers have worn their white jerseys more often than usual this season thanks to numerous night games in Death Valley, but they did bring the purple out on Sept. 27 for New Mexico State. Gold pants is the perfect contrast to a look that screams tradition and program pride.

NCAA Football: New Mexico State at Louisiana State

7.Georgia’s homes: Rated No. 1 in our SEC home uniforms list, we had to find a spot for the Bulldogs’ classic silver britches somewhere in this ranking.

NCAA Football: Clemson at Georgia

6.Ole Miss alternate helmet: Receptive to change and honoring a former fallen teammate, the Rebels remembered Chucky Mullins this season by donning powder blue helmets worn during the 1989 campaign. The powder blue helmets debuted in 1948 and were the primary gameday choice for nearly 30 years before reappearing in the early 1980s. Paired with a red alternate jersey, the pastel-colored lid with grey facemasks were awesome.

NCAA Football: Memphis at Mississippi

5.South Carolina’s black alternates: For the first time in several seasons, the Gamecocks donned black jerseys and pants against Tennessee the day after Halloween. Black helmets, or perhaps garnet chrome, would’ve perfected the set. South Carolina’s ensuing sixth straight loss in an alternate combination means it could be awhile before we see these unique threads again.

NCAA Football: Tennessee at South Carolina

4.Arkansas’ roads: With their improved Nike template and modernized alternate front-facing Hog logo, the Razorbacks have worn all-white several times this season, one the SEC’s cleanest looks. A chrome graphic on white lids really sets this combination apart from other similar monochromatic schemes.

NCAA Football: Arkansas at Auburn

3.Texas A&M’s throwbacks: Honoring the program’s 1939 national championship trend, the Aggies went outside the box against Louisiana-Monroe this season with a TECHFIT throwback combination complete with a matte maroon helmet with faux leather-like stitched graphics, rust-colored facemask clamps and weathered cleats.

NCAA Football: UL Monroe at Texas A&M

2.Kentucky’s chrome helmets: Arguably the best helmet in college football this season goes to the Wildcats’ chrome with blue accents look first unveiled during a win over South Carolina on Oct. 4. Paired with Kentucky’s black alternates, chrome lids were the perfect contrast during the biggest win in the Mark Stoops era. Kentucky’s also worn a blue-chrome rendition this season with grey uniforms.

NCAA Football: South Carolina at Kentucky

1.Texas A&M’s Ice-Whites: The players loved them and so did we. Texas A&M’s reflective chrome white-out uniforms and specialized helmet worn at Mississippi State this season took uniform geeks to another galaxy, despite the final score going in the opposite direction. Helmets had a matte white facemask that blended into chrome. Same as the shell with a chrome graphic. Perfection. Complete with the oversized Lonestar State across the chest, Adidas went over the top with great execution.
