With only two weeks remaining in the 2017 season, it’s becoming clearer which teams will likely be heading to bowl games and which teams will see their seasons end by December.

In fact, experts from ESPN (David Hale and Kyle Bonagura), CBS and Sports Illustrated are all in agreement that the same nine SEC teams will qualify for postseason play.

All three organizations agree that Arkansas, Florida, Ole Miss (due to self-imposed ban), Tennessee and Vanderbilt will be left out of the bowl picture this year.

However, that leaves nine SEC squads that will be representing the conference in bowl season. Here’s where the experts think those teams will play this postseason:

Alabama

  • ESPN: Sugar Bowl vs. Wisconsin (Hale), Sugar Bowl vs. Wisconsin (Bonagura)
  • CBS: Sugar Bowl vs. Wisconsin
  • SI: Sugar Bowl vs. Wisconsin

Auburn

  • ESPN: Fiesta Bowl vs. USC (Hale), Cotton Bowl vs. TCU (Bonagura)
  • CBS: Peach Bowl vs. UCF
  • SI: Cotton Bowl vs. Notre Dame

Georgia

  • ESPN: Peach Bowl vs. UCF (Hale), Peach Bowl vs. UCF (Bonagura)
  • CBS: Orange Bowl vs. Miami
  • SI: Orange Bowl vs. Clemson

Kentucky

  • ESPN: Belk Bowl vs. Wake Forest (Hale), Music City Bowl vs. Northwestern (Bonagura)
  • CBS: Liberty Bowl vs. Texas
  • SI: Belk Bowl vs. Wake Forest

LSU
