Ranking coaches is one of the most popular offseason debates every summer and CBS Sports has done its best to stoke the flames of that debate with its updated Power 5 coach rankings.

CBS Sports’ group of college football writers have ranked five Southeastern Conference coaches in the top eight heading into the 2020 season while also listing three outside the top 58 — keep in mind there are only 65 Power 5 head coaches.

Due to his lack of head coaching and coordinator experience, CBS Sports ranked Sam Pittman dead-last in their rankings among Power 5 coaches.

Here’s how CBS Sports ranks each SEC coach heading into the 2020 season:

#1 Nick Saban, Alabama

#4 Ed Orgeron, LSU

#6 Kirby Smart, Georgia

#7 Jimbo Fisher, Texas A&M

#8 Dan Mullen, Florida

#18 Gus Malzahn, Auburn

#22 Mark Stoops, Kentucky

#27 Mike Leach, Mississippi State

#35 Lane Kiffin, Ole Miss

#38 Jeremy Pruitt, Tennessee

#45 Will Muschamp, South Carolina

#59 Eli Drinkwitz, Missouri

#60 Derek Mason, Vanderbilt

#65 Sam Pittman, Arkansas
