SEC listening? Jimbo Fisher calls the ACC the premier conference in college football
In case you’ve been too consumed by all the action at SEC Media Days, the ACC is also hosting its annual preseason press conferences this week.
On Thursday, Florida State coach Jimbo Fisher decided to stir the pot a bit, calling the ACC the “premier” conference in all of college football in what will undoubtedly be construed as a subtle jab at the SEC:

To be fair, the ACC does hold the national championship after Clemson defeated Alabama in the title game last year, but the SEC’s recent run of dominance has been unmatched by any other conference.
Fortunately for college football fans, the ACC and SEC will get to see who is better in 2017 starting in Week 1, when Fisher’s Seminoles take on the Alabama Crimson Tide in Atlanta.
Whatever happens in that game, it will be must-see television for SEC and ACC fans alike.
