It’s still early, but it’s never too early to try to project which four teams will make the College Football Playoff field at the end of the season.

Last year, both Alabama and Georgia made the field, and ended up making the national championship game.

Heading into the 2018 season, SEC Network analyst Chris Doering thinks the SEC will again place two teams in the field of four.

In the ESPN video, which you can see here, Doering has Alabama as the No. 1 overall seed, facing No. 4 seed Wisconsin. In the other game, he has No. 2 seed Clemson facing off against No. 3 seed Georgia.

Doering explains that he believes both Alabama and Georgia will enter the SEC Championship Game with perfect records, with Alabama winning the conference title in a close game.

Will that be how the season plays out? Only time will tell, but it will be a fun ride to watch.
