Every year, the SEC is full of NFL talent, sending a slew of players to the draft.

But which SEC school would be able to field the best NFL team?

1. Georgia Bulldogs: The Georgia alumni team would be led by QB Matthew Stafford, who could throw to WR A.J. Green and TE Benjamin Watson. But RB Todd Gurley, who has rushed for more than 1,000 yards in his rookie season with the St. Louis Rams, would be the major weapon. The defense would be stacked, especially at linebacker. Geno Atkins and Chris Clemons would hold down the defensive line while Brandon Boykin and Tim Jennings would be serviceable in the secondary. But the middle of the defense would feature standout linebackers Thomas Davis, Justin Houston, Jarvis Jones and Alec Ogletree.

2. Alabama Crimson Tide: If only Alabama had a marquee quarterback. That’s about all that is holding the Crimson Tide back from being No. 1 on this list. But even with A.J. McCarron their best option under center, having Julio Jones and Amari Cooper on the outsides with Mark Ingram, Eddie Lacy and T.J. Yeldon as a three-headed monster in the backfield would make for a more-than-formidable offense. Not to mention the plethora of offensive linemen scattered across the NFL. The defense would be even more impressive. Landon Collins, HaHa Clinton-Dix, Kareem Jackson and Dre Kirkpatrick would be among the defensive backs. Marcell Dareus would be the centerpiece of the defensive line, but it would once again be the linebackers that steal the show here with Dont’a Hightower, Rolando McClain, C.J. Mosley and DeMeco Ryan.

3. LSU Tigers: If the NFL were flag football where skill players would dominate on the outside, LSU alumni would be unbeatable. That’s because the Tigers wide receivers in the NFL are Odell Beckham Jr., Jarvis Landry, Brandon LaFell and Rueben Randle. The secondary would feature Tyrann Mathieu, Eric Reid and Patrick Peterson. Jeremy Hill would also lead a decent backfield from Baton Rouge, but LSU’s weakness would be the same as Alabama’s —  quarterback.

4. Tennessee Volunteers: Peyton Manning and Arian Foster are the X-factors for Tennessee’s alumni team. Just having those two stars would make for a dynamic offense. Manning’s receiving targets would include Jason Witten, Cordarrelle Patterson, Denarius Moore and Justin Hunter. Eric Berry, Jerod Mayo and Robert Ayers would also give this team a solid defensive presence at all three levels.

5. Auburn Tigers: Cam Newton is the main reason Auburn makes this list. Look what he’s doing with a Panthers team that doesn’t have much on offense other than him and TE Greg Olsen. Newton would have a nice defense to support him with this team led by Karlos Dansby, Nick Fairley and Jerraud Powers.

HONORABLE MENTION

Texas A&M Aggies: Ryan Tannehill or perhaps Johnny Manziel would lead this team with receivers Mike Evans and Martellus Bennett. Von Miller and Michael Bennett would stand out on defense.

Florida Gators: Florida doesn’t have a quarterback in the pros, but the Gators have plenty of playmakers in the NFL on both sides of the ball.

Ole Miss Rebels: Eli Manning has two Super Bowl rings. Donte Moncrief, Mike Wallace and Dexter McCluster wouldn’t be bad receiving targets.
