Bowl season is just around the corner, and the college football season is entering its last month.

Several SEC teams are still in contention for the College Football Playoff, while others will fight for bowl eligbility.

The Birmingham Bowl has long been the bowl that nobody wants to go to, and SEC Shorts’ latest video tries to find out which team is cursed to play its bowl game in Birmingham. Auburn, Tennessee, Missouri, Mississippi State and South Carolina are all featured in the video.

The Birmingham Bowl started in 2006 as the PapaJohns.com Bowl and changed to the BBVA Compass Bowl in 2011. In January of 2015, it was changed to the Birmingham Bowl. South Carolina was the only SEC team to play in the PapaJohns.com Bowl (2010). Since then, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Vanderbilt, Florida and Auburn have all made an appearance in Birmingham.
