Every year, the SEC’s sports information directors predict how they think the conference’s 14 teams will stack up against one another.

AL.com compiles the results and puts them in a list, which can be seen here.

The SIDs were not too high on the SEC East, as the top team was Georgia, which clocked in at No. 4. Unsurprisingly, the Alabama Crimson Tide ranked No. 1 on the list (via AL.com):

  • 14: Missouri
  • 13: Vanderbilt
  • 12: Ole Miss
  • 11: Kentucky
  • T-9: Mississippi State
  • T-9: South Carolina
  • 8: Arkansas
  • 7: Tennessee
  • 6: Texas A&M
  • 5: Florida
  • 4: Georgia
  • T-2: Auburn
  • T-2: LSU
  • 1: Alabama

Obviously, these rankings aren’t important in the long run, as the order of finish will be decided on the field. But still, it’s nice to see what some of the people closest to the SEC’s football programs think at this stage of the year.
