Those perpetually crying out “SEC bias,” begging to be heard — you know the ones — come up with a myriad of arguments.

If Angry SEC Opponent Guy wrote down all his qualms on a scroll and let it unspool on the floor like one of those old-time cartoon gags, it would be long enough to encircle Bryant-Denny Stadium.

It’s possible to argue bias that favors the SEC in terms of national media coverage, preseason Top 25s, recruiting rankings and other things.

But any judgment of college football’s best game-day atmospheres must include several SEC programs. That’s inarguable, and a testament to the rabid, loyal, family-oriented nature of college football fandom in the Southeast United States.

NFL.com — which deserves kudos for putting out a stream of entertaining rankings this offseason in its “15 for ’15” series — ranked the Top 15 game-day atmospheres in college football. Unsurprisingly, the SEC dominated the list:

1. LSU
2. Alabama
3. Ohio State
4. Notre Dame
5. Nebraska
6. Georgia
7. Wisconsin
8. Clemson
9. Florida
10. Auburn
11. USC
12. Penn State
13. Texas A&M
14. Oregon
T15. Tennessee
T15. Washington

If you put all the power-conference schools in a hat and drew blindly, and then attended a game at that team’s home stadium, you’d do well to to pull out the name of an SEC team.

By NFL.com’s count, the SEC claims the two greatest college football atmospheres and half of the Top 10.

Which college football game-day atmosphere do you think is the most exciting?
