The Associated Press has just released its 2017 preseason All-America team, which was chosen by the votes of 51 members of the AP Top 25 media panel.

The All-America team released on Tuesday includes four SEC players on the offensive first team: Derrius Guice (RB, LSU), Christian Kirk (WR, Texas A&M) and Daniel Carlson (K, Auburn).

LSU linebacker Arden Key and Alabama safety Minkah Fitzpatrick were the only first team defensive players from the SEC.

SEC players were far more abundant on the second team.

On offense, Georgia‘s Nick Chubb and Alabama‘s Bo Scarbrough were second-team running backs. Jonah Williams (T, Alabama), Braden Smith (G, Auburn) and Frank Ragnow (C, Arkansas) all made the second-team offensive line. Calvin Ridley (WR, Alabama) made the second team, as well as kicker Eddy Pineiro from Florida.

Florida cornerback Duke Dawson made the second-team defense, in addition to Alabama punter JK Scott.
