Devon Gales can now feel his knee and the bottom of his feet.

According to WSB in Atlanta, the Southern University player who was paralyzed during a game against Georgia this past September, felt both body parts for the first time this week, big sign of progress.

Gales severely injured his spinal cord in the game against the Bulldogs in Athens before being taken off on a stretcher.

Previously, the former receiver could already feel his hands and some fingers.

“It’s just amazing to know the feeling is coming back and I have a chance to walk again,” Gales told the network’s Tyisha Fernandes on Wednesday in an exclusive interview.

Here’s to a speedy recovery for the 22-year-old.
