Terrell Buckley has reportedly landed a head coaching job. Not much is known about the XFL’s planned return in 2023, but Buckley will reportedly be the head coach of an Orlando-based XFL team.

Earlier this week, Buckley shared a video signing apparent paperwork, telling his followers, “Big things coming soon. Stay tuned.”

A Jim Thorpe Award-winning cornerback at Florida State and Super Bowl champion with the New England Patriots, Buckley has been in coaching since 2007. For the last 6 seasons, Buckley coached at Mississippi State and Ole Miss. Buckley was MSU’s cornerbacks coach from 2016-to-2019. He switched sides in the Egg Bowl rivalry ahead of the 2020 season, taking the same role on Lane Kiffin’s Ole Miss staff.

In January, Buckley announced on Twitter that he and Ole Miss agreed to part ways after 2 seasons.
